Overview
Having been in Griffin’s Hollow all her life, Zenaida Kneazler, also known as Ms. Kneazler, is a friendly face in the neighbourhood and is well-known as an avid animal lover. She loves all magical and non-magical creatures. Zenaida's interest in animals started when she was still a young child. As a reward for her hard work, her mother gifted her a pet Kneaper when she was just eight years old. Upon holding the Kneaper in her arms, she instantly fell in love with it. Zenaida spent hours taking care of her new pet to the best of her ability. This sparked her love for animals and her dream of becoming a Magizoologist.
When she attended Hogsworth as a student, she pursued Magical Creatures Studies. At the end of her final year, she took the H.A.T. examinations and earned high marks in the subject. After graduating, she furthered her studies with magical creatures and soon became a Magizoologist. In addition, Zenaida was a competent potion brewer as well. She believed that potions were key to healing any injured creatures and was keen to study this subject as well back in school. Zenaida continued working as a Magizoologist until she retired. However, her passion for creatures did not stop there. She always brought different creatures back into her own home to take care of them.
As she grew older, the retired Magizoologist became known as the town's resident grandmother who would bring cookies to give them out to the children of the town weekly. The entire town loved her baking and kindness until one day, tragedy struck. One of her Arachtellas released its venom into one of the cookies that was cooling on the counter. Unbeknownst to her, she handed out the cookies to the town’s children as per usual. When one of the children bit into the poisonous cookie, his reaction was terrifying. The poor child came down with a terrible fever, which landed him in the hospital for a few days. Zenaida Kneazler’s careless actions landed her in court where she was fined 500 Gold. From that day onwards, no one ever dared to eat her cookies again. Everyone in town also started ignoring her, and she started to live her life in solitude.
Players are able to encounter the Ms. Kneazler NPC through the fifth-year quests Potion Problems, Rest in Peace, and The Chalice of Oblivion. Typically dressed in a purple cardigan and pink dress, players can also spot the old lady in her house spending time with her creature friends. This friendly grandmother loves chatting with any player to help them on their journey to discover the mysteries of Griffin’s Hollow.
