Spring Festival 2020

Overview

The 2020 Spring Festival took place from April 11 to May 2 of 2020. Players were put into three different teams and competed to make the most Chocolate Bunnies. The team Hop’s created the most Chocolate Bunnies, with 22,354 Bunnies turned in. Everyone who was recruited by the Hop’s company got an Enchanted Chocolate Carrot as the exclusive reward for making the most Chocolate Bunnies. In second place, Delly’s turned in 20,740 Bunnies and Hare’s got third place with 17,350 Bunnies turned in.

Storyline

An NPC named the Recruiter explained to the player that Choco Hops were the most popular chocolate in the world. During the Spring Festival, the bunnies were attempting to put Choco Bunnies back on top by making them for everyone. There were three companies that the player could randomly be assigned to by the Recruiter. The three companies were Delectable Magical Delights, or Delly’s, Million-Hares Chocolates, or Hare’s, and Hop’s Sugary Delights, or Hop’s.

Players had to obtain ingredients from mobs, nodes, and parkour, all located in the tunnels.

The ingredients needed were Demoxie Eggs, Mandrakes, Chocolate, Wormwood, and Enchanted Carrots. Demoxie Eggs were obtained from the Demoxie mob, Mandrakes were dropped after defeating the Mandrake mob, Wormwood was found in nodes around the tunnels, and Enchanted Carrots were obtained from parkour.

The Demoxie Eggs, Mandrakes, Wormwood, and Enchanted Carrots were turned into Advitaserum through a sequence found in each companies’ headquarters. The Advistaserum and Chocolate could then be combined to make a Chocolate Bunny at the Mixing Pot. The Choco Bunny could then be turned into the company’s Recruiter to contribute to its overall total.

Location

For the Spring Festival, the Great Hall Courtyard was festively decorated, with the main features being the large baskets strewn throughout the Courtyard. These baskets had large, adorned eggs and inside one of the baskets was the Recruiter NPC that would allow the player to travel to the tunnels.

Once the player was in the tunnels, they would be surrounded by a large rabbit statue and more eggs. Most of the event took place inside of these tunnels and each of the companies’ headquarters was based here. Players could follow coloured carpet to find each companies’ headquarters, pink for Delly’s, Green for Hare’s, and Blue for Hop’s. Mobs that needed to be fought in order to get ingredients could also be found throughout the tunnels.

Activities

These activities could be done as often as the player wanted and were necessary to create a Chocolate Bunny.

Bunny Parkour

This tunnel parkour was necessary to collect the Enchanted Carrots needed to craft a Choco Bunny. Completing the parkour would give the player 2 Enchanted Carrots that they could then use when making the Choco Bunny.

Egg Hunt

There were up to 50 eggs that players could find in the tunnels. After players found all 50 of the eggs, they could talk to the Easter Bunny to receive an Easter Basket that functioned as a Beaded Handbag.

There were no contests that were held alongside this event.

Rewards & Collectables

This table includes the rewards that could be obtained during this event. Most were found in each companies’ shop and were unlocked by how many Chocolate Bunnies their company had contributed and how much the player had individually contributed.
