Daily Diviner Team

Overview

The Daily Diviner team is in the Media department of Potterworld. Together, the Writers, Editors, Producers, Advisor, and Lead write, edit, and publish articles about the server. These articles are published on the forums. Daily Diviner Writer

Daily Diviner Writers are team members that write the articles published in the Daily Diviner. They are knowledgeable about different types of writing. The Daily Diviner features several different columns a writer can write articles for (Feature, Editorial, Server Spotlight, Lifestyle, Special Editions, and occasional bonus articles).

Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable in the English language and writing mechanics.
• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be at least a level 51 or above (if you have reset, you must have been level 51 or higher before resetting).
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• Must have access to a private Gmail account.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Writing assigned articles that uphold the standards set for the Daily Diviner.
• Actively communicating with the Media Leadership and DD Producers.
• Working with DD Editors & other team members to create content.

Daily Diviner Editor

Daily Diviner Editors edit all articles before they are published in the Daily Diviner. They are knowledgeable about different types of writing and are skilled in grammar. They check articles for quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Edit the assigned articles so it upholds the standards set for the Daily Diviner.
• Write assigned articles in the case that a Writer is on hiatus, ill, or otherwise indisposed.
• Actively communicating with the Media Leadership and DD Producers.
• Working with DD Writers & other team members to create content.
  

Daily Diviner Producer

Daily Diviner Producers manage the creation of each issue of the Daily Diviner. They are involved in all parts of the issue creation process, from assigning articles to publishing the finished articles. They come up with the article topics and assign them to Writers, ensure that the Writers and Editors meet their deadlines, create article books, and organize the web-editions before announcing their release. Daily Diviner Producers also play a major role in the hiring and managing of team members.

Daily Diviner Advisor

Daily Diviner Advisor is the most senior position of the Daily Diviner team (aside from Lead). This individual aids Media Leadership in the management of this team in absence of a specific lead. They ensure that the team is functioning as needed and that it is fulfilling the standards of Media & Public Relations department.

Daily Diviner Lead

The Daily Diviner Lead is responsible for the general management of the Daily Diviner team. They ensure that the team is functioning as needed and that it is fulfilling the standards of Media & Public Relations department.
