Halloween: The Walking Inferi 2014

Overview

The Walking Inferi event was the first Halloween event on Potterworld and began on October 20, 2014. The main activity for the event was a challenge to collect beans. The event ended on November 2, 2014.

Storyline

Inferi had taken over Hogsworth and left the school in ruins. Players attempted to stay alive in the challenge map while also collecting Bellie's Multi Flavoured Jellies and Rotten Flesh from the Inferi.

Location

Players could use a warp sign to teleport into the challenge, where they started in a safe room with the resident cook, Carol. Once players were in the challenge map, the only way back out was hidden in the back of a tower.

Activities

During this event, there was only one available activity that players could participate in.

Walking Inferi Challenge

This activity was the main focus of the event and challenged players to survive in the ruins of Hogsworth while also collecting Bellie's Multi Flavoured Jellies. Players attempted to collect “sets” of 20 Beans, and the players who found the most sets by the end of the event would get special prizes. The possible beans for students to find were: Mint, Bubblegum, Chili, Pepper, Bacon, Lemon, Bogey, Grape, Cheese, Onion, Soap, Olive, Pumpkin, Salt, Chocolate, Strawberry, Tuttifruti, Salmon, Moustache, and Ear Wax. To find the beans, players had to look for Beacons, where a Bean dispenser would be located as an End Stone block. There were also ender chests scattered around the map for players to keep their Beans in.

Not only were Inferi roaming the school grounds attacking students, but students could attack one another as well. PvP was enabled in the challenge map, and every item in the player’s inventory, besides their wand, would be lost upon their death.
