May the Fourth 2017

Overview

The 2017 May the Fourth event began on May 4th and brought with it several on-theme collectables and brand-new minigames to enjoy.

Storyline

There was no storyline for this event, as its primary function was to celebrate the Star Wars franchise and to purchase collectables.

Location

The Millennium Falcon landed just beside Hogsworth at the start of the May the Fourth event. Since this event was spent mostly in activities, the location was largely limited to the maps that the minigames took place on. Still, the Millenium Falcon had several rooms to explore, filled to the brim with Star Wars-esque decorations.

Quests

There were no main storyline quests for this event.

Side Quests

There were no side quests for this event.

Activities

There were two minigames that could be played during this event: Star Battle and Star Racing. In order to join in on the fun, minigame activities made specially for the May the Fourth event, players either entered /games in chat, or walked up to an NPC in the Millenium Falcon.

Star Battle

This activity was a PvP style minigame, where players could choose to fight for the Rebels or the Empire. After selecting their side, they could choose kits which would determine what skills and boosts they used during the game itself. The goal was to kill the opponents more than they killed you, and, on top of that, to kill the most enemies total on your team. 

Star Racing

This activity was essentially just a race from point A to point B. The difference between Star Racing and Flying, however, is that in this game, players are given boosts that either defended themselves or attacked other players to help them get into the lead.
