Overview
On August 12th, the Headmaster’s Birthday came out for one day only. During the event, the Great Hall was filled with laughing, cake-filled students who enjoyed 12 hours of classes, answering special riddles, and hunting down the Goblin Key that day.
Storyline
There was not a storyline for this event.
Location
Not much was done to change the Great Hall for this one-day event. However, the house-elves worked tirelessly to create enough cake to cover the tables in swathes of sweet cakes and treats to celebrate the Headmaster’s special day. One could hardly see through the cakes to the actual table itself!
Quests
There were no quests for the Headmaster’s Birthday event in 2016.
Side Quests
No side quests were available for 2016’s Headmaster Birthday event.
Activities
There were 3 special activities for Droobledore’s birthday.
12 Hours of Classes
Each hour for 12 hours, the Professors of Potterworld held a different class for students to attend and hopefully earn lots of Academic Credits!
Daily AC Special
Much like the modern Daily Riddles, the Daily AC’s at the time (created by the Secret Keepers) were fun activities students could complete daily for rewards. For Droobledore’s birthday, the Secret Keepers created 3 Daily AC’s at varying levels of difficulty, so players could get 3 times the rewards!
The Goblin Key
At around 1 PM, the Goblin Key was released. This was a special item of Droobledore’s, hidden in-game so that players could search for it and hopefully retrieve it as a memento of his birthday party.

Rewards & Collectables
No special Rewards or Collectables were created for the 2016 Headmaster’s Birthday event.
Store Releases
There was a 24-hour flash sale for this event! Every item was 30% off for the 12th of August (in terms of PST) only, from packages to hats to pets. On top of that, there was a new emote pack released on Droobledore’s birthday: the Party Emote Pack.
