Location Journal

Overview

The Location Journal is a log of all of the fast travel locations that the player has unlocked. These fast travel locations can help the player travel quickly throughout Hogsworth.

Using your Location Journal

Once the player has the Location Journal, they can choose to either keep it in their inventory or put it in their book bag to save space. If the Location Journal is in the player’s inventory, right-clicking while holding the journal will open it. If the journal is in the player’s book bag, right-clicking the book bag will bring up a menu. From this menu, the player can then click on the icon that says “Location Journal” in order to open the journal.

Once the player opens the journal, they will be able to see what fast travel locations they have found around Hogsworth. If the player has not discovered the location yet, the icon will show as a lock. A different icon will appear if the player has discovered the location. This method of unlocking is similar to how Location Discovery works for the Fire Dust Network. The Location Journal, however, will not allow you to warp anywhere on the world map or in Hogsworth. 

After a location has been discovered, the player can hover over the icon in their journal to see a short description of what is used to teleport, for example, a painting or statue. After discovery, hovering over the icon will also show the locations that are associated with each fast travel. At the top of the menu, the player can also hover over the icon of the book to see how many of the fast travel locations they have discovered.

Tips

• Many fast travel locations are hidden behind paintings, try jumping through them to see if you discover one! You can view the fast travel locations outside of Hogsworth in the Other Travel Methods page.
• Some of the locations will have particles near or on them, if you see any odd particles around Hogsworth, clicking them might take you somewhere cool!
