May the Fourth 2019

Overview

May the Fourth is an annual event based on the Star Wars universe. The 2019 event took place from May 4th until May 18th.

Storyline

There was no overarching storyline for this event.

Location

The event was a mostly minigame-based one; however, players could buy exclusive rewards inside the Millennium Falcon. This could be found near the Hogsworth Boathouse, and players could talk to Jayoda to trade their Star Tokens, the currency for the event.

There were no main storyline quests for this event.

Activities

Minigames

There were two seasonal minigames that were added to the /games menu that students could play. Both Star Racing, a Sledding-type game, and Star Battle, a King of the Hill-type game, were available for the duration of the event. Players would receive Star Tokens by playing these games, along with Star Credits for every kill made in Star Battle, which they could trade for Star Tokens. There was a website-based Star Battle Tournament that took place the first week of the event. Those who won got Toy N-Scope Sniper Rifles for placing in the top 10 in the Tournament.

Contests

A giveaway was announced via the Potterworld YouTube channel in conjunction with this event. To enter, players had to subscribe to the channel and comment with their IGN and their favourite event. The winner of the giveaway was announced in another video on May 12th, and the winner received the Porgin pet.
