Overview
The Potterworld staff team and team contribute extensive hours each week to work to create new content, engage with players, and improve the overall player experience. There are six different departments within the team that focus on different aspects of the server. If a player ever has a question or needs help with something the staff is always around to help.
Applications for different ranks open when staff/team members are needed for a specific role. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to apply to a position if they are interested in it. However, there are a few specific requirements a player must meet before applying or being considered for a role. Each rank has a different set of requirements that can be found within the application itself. You can check which applications are currently open by going to the Potterworld website and hovering over the “Applications” tab.
Departments
Department of Community Management
The Community Management department focuses on creating a better experience for the playerbase. This department consists of five different sub-departments that work to improve the experience through moderating the server, implementing suggestions, managing events for the community and staff team, creating a wikipedia, and adding/creating new items for the store.
Department of Game Design
The Game Design department is responsible for developing and creating the game elements of Potterworld. This department consists of six sub-departments that work to create the server’s lore, events, quests, mobs, and spells.
Department of Media
The Media department focuses on the more artistic content for the server. This department consists of five sub-departments that work to release new content for players to enjoy through various YouTube videos, graphics, social media platforms (Instagram and Twitter), a bi-weekly newspaper, and creating new models for the server (mobs and skins).
Department of Academics
