Community Management Team

The Community Management department is one of the largest departments on Potterworld. The goal of the Community Management department is to create a better experience for the player base, whether this is through moderating the server, creating a Wikipedia for the players to use, or releasing new store items.


Sub-Departments

Moderation

The Moderation sub-department is in charge of keeping the server’s platforms appropriate for all players, whether this be on the Discord, forums, or in-game. The roles within Moderation are Jr. Prefects, Prefects, Sr. Prefects (in-game moderators), Discord Moderators, and the Wizencouncil team (forum moderators). The in-game moderators assist with taking care of players who disobey the rules and answer tickets that come in every day. Discord Moderators help to keep the Potterworld Discord safe and family-friendly. The Wizencouncil team moderates the forums and assist in dealing with the website support tickets.


Scribes

The Scribe sub-department is one of the more back-end sections of the Community Management department. The Scribe Publishers are in charge of creating and publishing pages for the public Wikipedia.


Store

The Store sub-department is a staff-only branch of Community Management that creates, manages and releases new store items every month.


Management

Like most departments, Community Management has a leadership team that runs the sub-departments within. In Community Management, the leadership team consists of the sub-department leads, the Assistant to Head of Community Management, and the Head of Community Management.


Assistant to Head of Community Management

The Assistant to Head of Community Management assists the Head of Community Management with leading and managing the entire department and all sub-teams and their members. They also help oversee the management of the Leads and provide assistance when needed.


Head of Community Management

The Head of Community Management is the leader of the department. This Head Staff position serves to aid and look over the Leads of the department and also head in the runnings of the department along with managing everyone within.
