Thanksgiving 2017

Overview

The Thanksgiving event was held in November of 2017 and was only available for a few days. This event celebrated Thanksgiving and included two quests for players to complete. In addition, there were 2 store sales released.

Storyline

During this event, players helped prepare a Thanksgiving dinner to celebrate the holiday. In addition, players showed how thankful they were for all of the house-elves’ hard work in preparing the food at Hogsworth.

Location

The festivities took place in the Great Hall Courtyard. It was decorated with tables in autumn colours of red, orange, brown, and yellow. There were also stands to purchase collectables and a tree representing the autumn season.

Quests

Two quests could be completed during the Thanksgiving event. These quests went along with the storyline of the event.

Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner

During this quest, players had to gather ingredients for Nana Nara. This would help Nana prepare a Thanksgiving dinner.

A Huge Thank-You

This quest had players providing their thanks for the House-Elves of Hogsworth. Throughout the years, House-Elves were rarely given any appreciation. However, during this year, students were given an opportunity to show thankfulness towards the elves.

Rewards & Collectables

Players could purchase rewards from an NPC for the duration of the event. The rewards cost players Gold. The table below shows all of the rewards players could receive from the event.

Store Releases

There were no store releases specifically for this event. However, there were two store sales during the event. The first sale was 30% off of everything in the store, which began on November 16th and ended on November 23rd. The second sale was 50% off of everything in the store, which began on November 23rd and ended on November 25th.
