WizNetworker Team

Overview

The Social Media Team consists of three roles, the (Post or Video) WizNetworker, Expert WizNetworker, and Lead WizNetworker. WizNetworkers, no matter their rank, come together and come up with the content for social media accounts such as Twitter and Instagram. The social media accounts allow for the staff team to keep players up to date with some of the newest updates and store releases. WizNetworkers also request all of the graphics that are used on the social media accounts along with preparing for special monthly events, with their posts aiming to interact with the player base as best as they can to create a positive bond between staff and players. Furthermore, Video WizNetworkers create videos for Instagram Reels. Examples of these reels include event trailers, store showcases, and more.

Post WizNetworker

Post WizNetworkers plan and create posts for the social media platforms. They also assist with the planning and organisation of competitions, and keep the players up to date with new updates and releases on Potterworld through the WizNewsletter.

Responsibilities

• Planning original & creative posts based on upcoming events, features & server information.
• Organising & planning competitions, contests, and giveaways for the community.
• Writing sections for the monthly WizNewsletter
• Providing feedback on posts, WizNewsletter sections, & video content.
• Meeting deadlines for requests, assignments, and scheduled posts.
• Actively communicating with the Media Leadership team.
• Working & meeting with other team members to create content.

Video WizNetworker

Video WizNetworkers make video content for social media platforms, specifically Instagram Reels.

Responsibilities

• Creating video content based on upcoming events, features, server information & video related requests.
• Assisting in writing scripts, building sets, and other miscellaneous activities in the video creation process.
• Providing feedback on posts, WizNewsletter sections, & video content.
• Meeting deadlines for requests, assignments, and scheduled posts.
• Actively communicating with the Media Leadership team.
• Working & meeting with other team members to create content.

Expert WizNetworker

The Expert WizNetworkers are senior members of the WizNetworker team. They continue their WizNetworker duties, but assist with the management of their specific sub-team (Post or Video) where needed. They give feedback, approve content, and more.

WizNetworker Advisor

The WizNetworker Advisor assists the Lead WizNetworker or Media Leadership. They oversee both Video and Post WizNetworkers and manage requests and releases.

Lead WizNetworker

The Lead WizNetworker is responsible for the general management of the Potterwatch team. They ensure that the team is functioning as needed and that it is fulfilling the standards of Media & Public Relations department.
