Overview
Alberto the Wise is an NPC encountered during the 4th year quest Stars in the Dark. He is located in a small house inside of the well that Iona’s necklace fell down. When encountered, he will ask for help researching the mysterious Blue Crystals found in the cave. He will send the player to the local Tailor’s shop in order to gather materials for a Research Kit.
When the player speaks to him after crafting the kit, the player will then be asked to study the Blue Crystals and share their findings with Alberto. He has a theory that the crystals are vulnerable to fire, which he will have the player test by using a flint and steel near a Giant Blue Crystal. After doing so, Alberto will reveal that he has been holding onto Iona’s necklace.
