Arena Team

Overview

The Arena team is part of the Academics team and are responsible for managing and planning monthly tournaments for both Dueling and Flying, as well as seasonal tournaments such as Sledding or Star Racing. They are also in charge of posting updates for each tournament as well as announcing the winners. 

The team works together in smaller groups (consisting both of Arena Squires and Arena Masters) to plan and prepare the tournaments each month.


Requirements
  • You must be at least 14 years old.
  • Being able to use Discord with a microphone and being comfortable speaking to others is recommended.
  • Must have use of your own personal Gmail account.
  • Be available during the week for Challenges and on weekends for Tournaments.
  • If you're a staff member, you must have permission to apply from the Head of your Primary Department.
  • You must be a level 61 on the server.
  • A clean record on Potterworld is recommended.


Responsibilities
  • Working/communicating with other Arena members to host/run all Challenges & Tournaments.
  • Actively communicating with Academics & Arena Leadership.
  • Working with other staff on projects and content for the competitive community.
  • Be available during the week for Challenges and on weekends for Tournaments.


Rank Descriptions

Arena Squire

Arena Squires are the entry rank for the Arena team. They assist and help with challenges and tournaments in-game, as well as track tournament champions and participants.


Arena Master

Arena Masters inherit all responsibilities of Arena Squire, as well as organising and hosting the monthly tournaments and challenges. As a more senior member, they also lead projects, contribute to season releases, and give guidance to Arena Squires.


Arena Grandmaster

Arena Grandmasters inherit all responsibilities of Arena Masters, in addition to more leadership responsibilities and team involvement. In this higher senior role, they send out tournament-related announcements, update the tournament winners on the forums, host and help, as well as provide feedback. They also give guidance to Arena Squires and Arena Masters.


Lead Arena Master

The lead(s) of the Arena team. The Lead Arena Master(s) oversee the team and ensure all tournaments and challenges are running smoothly.
