Arithmancer Team

Overview

The Arithmancer team is in the Media department, and there are three roles. Skin Arithmancers, 2D Arithmancers, and 3D Arithmancers together make skins, promotional pictures, and renders for the server. They are real artists of the staff team, and work closely with other staff teams to create skins and digital art.

Skin Arithmancer

Skin Arithmancers are staff members devoted to creating artwork in the form of Minecraft skins. They create the skins used in our renders/graphics, videos, and for all quest & event NPCs in-game.

Requirements

• Must be skilled in creating Minecraft skins using any program.
• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be at least a level 31 or above (if you have reset, you must have been level 31 or higher before resetting).
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• Have access to a personal email account.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Creating graphics based on requests that are assigned.
• Meeting deadlines for requests and projects.
• Actively communicating with the Media Leadership team.
• Working with other team members to create content.

2D Arithmancer

2D Arithmancers are staff members devoted to creating artwork in the form of graphics. They create the visuals and our promotional material on the website, store, social media platforms, and more. We typically look for those skilled in creating informational/infographic style visuals.

Requirements

• Must have access to Photoshop.
• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be at least a level 31 or above (if you have reset, you must have been level 31 or higher before resetting).
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• Have access to a personal email account.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.

3D Arithmancer

3D Arithmancers are staff members devoted to creating artwork in the form of renders. They create renders for our promotional material on the website, store, social media platforms, and more.

Requirements

• Must have access to a 3D manipulation software & must be knowledgeable in extracting models from resource packs.
• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be at least a level 31 or above (if you have reset, you must have been level 31 or higher before resetting).
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• Have access to a personal email account.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.

Master Arithmancer

The Master Arithmancers are senior members of the Arithmancer team. They can be Skin, 2D, or 3D Arithmancers. They continue their Arithmancer duties as well as assisting the Media Leadership team where needed.

Arithmancer Advisor

The Arithmancer Advisor assists the Lead Arithmancer and Media Leadership to oversee the Arithmancer team. They work with Skin, 2D, and 3D Arithmancers to develop content.

Lead Arithmancer

The Lead Arithmancer is the lead member of the Arithmancer team. They oversee the three sections of the Arithmancer team- Skin, 2D, and 3D. They are also a member of the Media Leadership team and are particularly crucial in working with other departments to create content.
