Build Team

Overview

The Build team is responsible for making the buildings around the world of Potterworld. They are also responsible for creating the towns, events, and minigame maps on Potterworld. Builders have to follow a specific style of building that fits perfectly with the server.

Requirements

• You must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• You must be in year four or above on the server.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You cannot be a builder or staff member on any other HP-themed server.
• Experience building within teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of both World Edit and Voxel Sniper is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Building all world maps, events, and minigame maps on the server.
• Assisting the Academics team by building classrooms and other academics-related builds.
• Coordinating with the Game Designer team to create builds for events and the world.

Rank Descriptions

Jr. Builder (Non-Staff)

Jr. Builder is the entry role for the Build team. Their responsibilities include assisting other builders with themed builds, structures for the world map and minigames map.

Sr. Builder (Staff)

Established builders that are familiar with the Build team and the intricacies of being on the team.

Jr./Sr. Architect (Staff)

Established builders that can act as project leaders for various projects on the Build team. These members serve as role models for the other builders and are experts with their tools and the Potterworld build style.

Lead Architect

The lead of the Build team. Lead Architects assist the heads of the department in managing the team.

Assistant to Head of Build

The Assistant to Head of the Build team inherits the responsibilities of the Lead Architect. They also work to communicate between all positions to ensure transparency. 

Head of Build

The Head of the Build team is a Head Staff position that runs the entire Build department. They are in charge of the final decisions made for the team, as well as taking action on any feedback and suggestions.
