Minigames

Overview

There are a wide variety of minigames on Potterworld. The server houses single-player minigames like parkour, and multiplayer minigames like Party Games. Players can find single-player minigames around the map. Multiplayer minigames can be accessed in /games. All games offer differing amounts of Gold depending on difficulty or placement.

Single-player Minigames

Single player minigames are found around the map, labelled by a pink icon named Minigames. Many of the minigames are found at notable locations like Hogsworth, and are usually individual parkour courses and mazes. These minigames are each allocated one of three difficulties; easy, medium, or hard. In order to begin the single-player minigames, one needs to travel to the coordinates listed in the table below or on the map. Some minigames will not appear on the map since they are located in areas off the world-map such as Diagonal Lane. Players will see the minigame labelled with a pink name and purple particles. When players click the object indicating the minigame, then again click to travel, they will be taken to the start of the minigame. The table below shows all of the single player minigames, where to find them, the difficulty, and the Gold reward.

Multiplayer Minigames

Multiplayer minigames are games that can be played against or with other players on the server. There are a variety of games, such as Flying and Party Games. There are currently 6 permanent multiplayer games, which are shown in the table below. Some games are seasonal or specific to events, which means they will only be available through certain events or time periods. In order to play any multiplayer minigames, players must join in /games. Players must click the game they desire to join, and they will then be added into the game queue. Once there are enough players, those in the queue will be teleported into the game.

The website shows a list of the games including the seasonal ones, if applicable. In addition, the website shows the different maps and the leaderboard of the specific minigame. The permanent multiplayer games are listed on the table below. 

Game Description 1v1 Arena The battle for Ultimate Wizard awaits! Can you beat your opponent in a 1v1 battle? Melting Floor Better move quick, the floor will melt behind you. Be sure to avoid the bedrock! Hide and Seek Can you become the master of disguise? Make sure no one finds you in Hide and Seek! Quabbleball The fast paced team sport that requires large amounts of speed and strength. Gather up your team spirit and catch that Snidget! Flying Do you have a need for speed? Grab your broom and feel the wind through your hair in Flying! Party Games Play 6 randomly selected games with your fellow players and compete to be the best!
