Grounds Keeper Team

Overview

The Grounds Keeper team is a branch of the Technology and Development department. Grounds Keepers are responsible for the reporting, managing, and logging of all bugs on the server. They are the first to test new content that is released on the server, including events, quests, and riddles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Being able to use Discord with a microphone and being comfortable speaking to others is recommended.
• Must have use of your own personal Gmail account.
• If you're a staff member, you must have permission to apply from the Head of your Primary Department.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.
• You must be level 70 or above on the server. If you reset your account, you must have been at least level 70 before resetting.

Responsibilities

• Be the first to test all new gameplay on the server, and ensure that there are no bugs within that gameplay.
• Managing and reporting all bugs within the server, Discord, and forums.
• Ensuring that all bugs on the server are reported and passed on to their respective teams.

Grounds Keeper

Grounds Keepers aid the Development team with bug testing and bug reporting.

Sr. Grounds Keeper

Sr. Grounds Keepers help Grounds Keepers in testing and bug reporting and are also be able to set up testing. Additionally, they can be testing group leaders; this is where they oversee the Grounds Keepers testing to ensure the subset of quests and content is properly tested, for example, by setting up testing sessions.

Lead Grounds Keeper

Lead Grounds Keepers lead the Grounds Keeper team, along with the Head of Technology. They oversee the work of both Grounds Keepers and Sr. Grounds Keepers, offering guidance and help. Leads are also able to set up testing.
