Overview
Murtletts are a Level 5 mob that can be discovered on Potterworld. They are mobs with a neutral behaviour. One can find Murtletts within a cave near Hogsworth. While they will not be encountered through a quest, they are good sources of XP for those starting their journeys at Hogsworth.
Behaviour & Defence
With this creature having a neutral behaviour, they will not attack unless a player attacks it first.
When fighting a Murtlett, their base attack can deal 8 damage and they have two special abilities known as sprint and swipe. While their sprint ability allows a Murlett to increase their speed and run towards a player, their special attack, swipe, can deal up to 30 damage. With only 40 HP, this mob is certainly not a difficult opponent.
Murtletts are not necessarily the kindest towards humans. When they do not have their regular food available, their next favourite snack is human feet. However, they can be incredibly useful. The growths on their back can be used for jinx resistance, which can be incredibly useful when duelling. However, overeating the growth can make one sick and cause purple hair to grow inside of their ear. Murtletts are also sometimes used as essence to treat small cuts and bruises. However, their risk should not go unrecognised, as even though a Murtlett's bite to a human may not be fatal, they can cause severe sweating, twitching and flames coming out of one's rear end.
Habitat
Murtletts are located in a cave south of Hogsworth. In order to enter the cave, Lumen Aestus must be cast to remove the barricade. Additionally, Wormwood Lvl. 1 plant nodes can be found around the cave.
Defeat
Once a Murtlett is killed, there are multiple drops it could possibly give. Such drops include Lvl 1-10 Gear Piece, Murtlett Tail, Murtlett Meat, and Murtlett Tentacle. The Murtlett mob drops can be used to craft Puffing Pod Fudge I, Jester's Stew I, White Cocoacursed Tea I, and Hijinx Mixture I.
