Overview
Via has cooled down and is waiting on a rock in Tristmoor. Go see if she is ready to continue your journey to cure the infected students at Hogsworth.
Quest Progression
To start this quest, players need to speak to Via Oxley after she has calmed down in Tristmoor. There is a 1-hour cooldown between this and the prior quest (Rising Healer: Challenged) of the Rising Healer questline.
Dialogue
[1/5] Hey. I am sorry I snapped at you earlier, that wasn't right.
[2/5] I've been thinking about everything as I calmed down.
[3/5] Somehow, I was able to grab my mom's journal as we left. I think it could really help us.
[4/5] I was, uh, you know, hoping you would be willing to continue...
[5/5] Are you able to forgive me?
Objective 1 - Find the Cave in Tristmoor
Description
Use Via's clue to locate the cave where Petromorphis originated.
Dialogue
[1/6] Thank you. I really mean it when I say; you are one of my best friends, so thank you for forgiving me.
[2/6] Now let's go, there are people that are counting on us.
[3/6] My mom's journal has her notes of what they have discovered about the cave.
[4/6] She was writing in code in case someone snuck into it so we have to figure out the riddles.
[5/6] I think this first riddle tells us where it is, it goes like this:
[6/6] "Near one of the tallest peaks in town,
Between boulder and bay,
Take a dive down here
And you'll be well on your way"
Objective 2 - Enter the Cave
Description
Search the cave for clues that show you what the secret pattern is to enter the deeper portion of the cave.
Dialogue
[1/4] This place is a bit spooky, but alright then...
[2/4] Here in her journal, she says there is a puzzle that is hundreds of years old and is used to get past the scratches.
[3/4] Here, take it and see if you can help me interpret it.
[4/4] The scratches are somewhere in this cave too, and they should be pretty obvious from what I've read.
Objective 3 - Find the Cure
Description
Help Via decipher the runes to learn about the creatures you must pass before collecting the cure, then collect the cure at the end of the cave past the creatures.
Dialogue
[1/4] Oooh, runes. This is my best subject, aside from healing of course.
[2/4] I am not exactly sure why these are here.... but let's find out.
[3/4] Ancient Runes is one of my favourite subjects and they are often used from olden times to hold secrets.
[4/4] If you check out the runes in this section of the cave I can translate them. Come tell me them when you know them
Via Oxley - After figuring out the runes
[1/5] Water. These translate to water so the cure must be a liquid. This must mean that past whatever is next is the cure.
[2/5] It could be a magical spring? We will hopefully see soon.
[3/5] I think Laurence said something about symptoms speeding up in the next part, so be careful.
[4/5] Make sure you prepare Feruvio, these creatures don't seem very kind and we must have enough energy to break past the rocks he mentioned in the journal.
[5/5] Now is a good of time as ever, let's go. See you on the other side…

[1/4] Phew that was close. I am starting... to have trouble... b- breathing.
[2/4] We must h- hurry. The kids back at the school... need us.
[3/4] Take [2 Empty Vial] and collect the cure.
[4/4] I assume... it is in the waterf- fall. Bring me the second v- vial after you drink yours.
Via Oxley - After giving her the cure
[1/2] Thank you so much, I already am feeling much better.
[2/2] Now we don't have much time, take this [1 Warp Key to Hogsworth] and meet me back at the Hospital Wing!
Objective 4 - Save Hogsworth
Description
Speak to Madam Lillian and return the rock goblins to their student form so they are cured of Petromorphis.
Dialogue
[1/5]Thank goodness you two made it back alive.
[2/5] Of course it had to do with that cave, Tristmoor has many secrets and too many explorers.
[3/5] I don't have time for your whole report yet, because we are in a state of emergency.
[4/5] All of the children who had Petromorphis have... transformed.
[5/5] They are now these crazy rock creatures. Please use whatever you got of the cure from your Medi-Kit to save them!
