Overview

Via wishes to catch up with you and is waiting in the Hospital Wing. She has a lot to tell you about but who knows how far she will get before she might get interrupted.

Quest Progression

To begin the quest, speak with the Via Oxley NPC in Hogsworth’s Hospital Wing. As this is a part of a quest storyline, Rising Healer: Comforted must be completed before this quest can be started.

Objective 1 - Catch Up with Via

Description

Talk to Via and catch up on how your lives have been going.

  • [1/3] Oh my gosh okay so there is so much to tell you.
  • [2/3] What is that noise?
  • [3/3] Is that a-


Madam Lillian

  • [1/2] Via, [Player's username]!
  • [2/2] Come quickly it is an emergency!


After cutscene

  • [1/5] I need you two to listen closely and remember your training. The time has come to use what you have learned.
  • [2/5] A few of your peers have contracted a new disease called Petromorphis. The origin is unknown and so is the severity.
  • [3/5] From what I have seen it is contagious by touch, therefore the students affected have been up here since discovered.
  • [4/5] So far, only six students affected have shown symptoms. Thank goodness because I am already struggling to keep up.
  • [5/5] Please speak to Sylvie Wallace and Tristan Faltcue about the symptoms they are showing. I added two new items in your Medi-Kit that may be of assistance.


Objective 2 - Help in the Hospital Wing

Description

Investigate the symptoms of Petromorphis and discover how it came to Hogsworth. Be sure to look for ways to aid the students' symptoms as well.

Before helping Sylvie Wallace

  • [1/4]  Oh, hey. Are you helping Madam Lillian out?
  • [2/4]  I was wondering if I could get something to help me with my arm.
  • [3/4]  It is like turning to stone, which Madam knows, but now it’s getting really heavy to hold up.
  • [4/4]  Maybe a sling or something? I am bummed enough about missing the quabbleball match so I would like to at least be able to read.


After helping Sylvie Wallace

  • [1/2]  Thank you so much, now I can prop up my book on my sling.
  • [2/2]  I hope we figure out how to cure this soon because my team is really sad without me playing.


Before helping Tristan Faltcue

  • [1/5]  He- Hello. It's getting... worse.
  • [2/5]  ...more symptoms are coming faster.
  • [3/5]  I need something to make this…
  • [4/5]  ..more … bearable …
  • [5/5]  Something to slow the… symptoms


After helping Tristan Faltcue

  • [3/6]  He was always... hiding in that basement... and w- wouldn't let me in.

Madam Lillian

  • [1/6]  Oh goodness, of course it was Laurence. I knew him back when we were students.
  • [2/6]  He was always sneaking into the dark forest and going places he wasn’t supposed to.
  • [3/6]  If Laurence Faltcue had to do with this, who knows what he has released.
  • [4/6]  Take the [1 Warp Key to Tristmoor] and find him. If he won’t give you information, do what you must to find it.
  • [5/6]  You will no longer be on school grounds and therefore aren’t bound by school rules. It sounds like the clue to the cure might lie in his basement.
  • [6/6]  Locate the cure and return to me. I trust you both to save Hogsworth.


Objective 3 - Find Laurence Faltcue

Description

Find Tristan's father at his house in the outskirts of Tristmoor and look for more information to help save the few students affected by Petromorphis.

  • [2/6]  Petromorphis… Tristan…
  • [3/6]  How dare my son send y- you?
  • [4/6]  You w- will get no information from me.
  • [5/6]  I am innocent… I don’t k- know how I contracted this...
  • [6/6]  I didn’t mean to give it to him. *cough* Now GET OUT!


Objective 4 - Explore against Laurence’s Wishes

Description

Look for more information to help save the few students affected by Petromorphis. Tristan mentioned the basement, maybe there is something there.


Objective 5 - Escape the Basement

Description

Use the resources around the Faltcue basement to escape and find out why Laurence Faltcue is so defensive about the disease.

  • [2/4]  I told you to leave.. Now you can’t.
  • [3/4]  Curiosity killed the cat, children-n.
  • [4/4]  Good luck ever g-getting out of here.


Via Oxley - Room 1

  • [1/4]  Gosh this room is so cluttered.
  • [2/4]  It looks like the door up ahead is locked, maybe there are clues around here.
  • [3/4]  We need 4 numbers…
  • [4/4]  Let me know if you find anything.


Via Oxley - Room 2

  • [1/4]  This room has no exit visible.
  • [2/4]  Look around and see if Laurence has left anything that might indicate how to exit.
  • [3/4]  Maybe it has something to do with his to-do list.
  • [4/4]  Check his chalkboard.


Via Oxley - Room 3

  • [1/4]  That was so cool-
  • [2/4]  Now look around, this room is much cleaner.
  • [3/4]  I think this might be Laurence’s office...
  • [4/4]  Look around and see if he left anything on Petromorphis.


Via Oxley - After solving room 3

  • [1/7]  Winifred….. Oxley?
  • [2/7]  Her husband was one of the travellers.
  • [3/7]  She made a bloodpact with Limbrian for their families to never stop researching-
  • [4/7]  That means my mother would know. Which is why this symbol is here. I can’t believe her-
  • [5/7]  That paper you picked up has my mothers initials in the center of the business logo.
  • [6/7]  If she was working with Laurence, she may be our only hope.
  • [7/7]  We have to go find her, she might have something in her office that will help us.


Objective 6 - Confront the Mom

Description

Find Via's house in the outskirts of Tristmoor and search her mother's office for how she is involved with the Faltcue Family and Petromorphis.

  • [2/2]  Snooping through my desk instead of saying hello during this surprise visit home I see.


Via Oxley

  • [1/1]  Don't patronize me mother.

  • [1/1]  Why are you here?

  • [1/2]  I am here because I am trying to help people.
  • [2/2]  Students at my school might DIE because of you and Laurence's secret research and I intend to find out the cure.

  • [1/1]  You know about Laurence?

  • [1/2]  I know more than you think mom.
  • [2/2]  I am not a little girl anymore and I am old enough to make decisions for myself.

Objective 7 - Check on Via

Description

Find Via in Tristmoor and make sure she is okay after being disowned.

  • [2/5]  I don’t care about this stupid disease, or that stupid school, or any of it.
  • [3/5]  It is over… I have lost everything.
  • [4/5]  I don’t want to talk right now, please leave me alone.
  • [5/5]  I will take your Medi-Kit, come back in a few hours and maybe I will be up to finishing.

Tips

  • Make sure to pay close attention to all of the interactions in each room, as some can reveal hints of how to escape the room.
