Overview
Via Oxley is the main character throughout the Rising Healer questline. Players will have the chance to learn and grow as a healer alongside Via, whom they meet in the very first quest. She is a very head-strong, but compassionate person who excels at healing. She is always ready to help others and loves to share her knowledge with anyone willing to listen.
In Rising Healer: United, players stumble across Via after obtaining a concussion and leaving the Hospital Wing against medical advice. Via suspects the player’s concussion using her established medical knowledge, even as a Hogsworth student. She has had an affinity for healing since a young age, learning complex spells such as Epifio and Saniteris in her first years at Hogsworth.
During the quest, Rising Healer: Supported, players will start to dive into Via’s home life and learn about the unsupportive family she has. Via's mother and younger brother, Mylo Oxley, both don't approve of her love for healing, and instead want her to follow the family business and take over ownership of Via's mother’s wand shop. Her mother, who shows various ways in which she’s disappointed in Via, even appears in the quest Rising Healer: Challenged and disowns her after being caught snooping through her office.
Even after being disowned, Via still continued to work hard towards her dreams; including diving down into the caves of Tristmoor to find the cure to Petromorphis. Via works in the school as an apprentice under Madam Lillian. Helping out in the Hospital Wing, Via gets to see a range of magical and mundane illnesses contracted by Hogsworth students. She even goes on to pursue her dream of being a healer at Merlin's Magical Hospital, which players get to see in Rising Healer: Reunited.
