Technology and Development Team

The Technology and Development department’s purpose is to create and test the very mechanics of Potterworld. They create the plugins that form the unique attributes of the server. They also function as the bug-sweepers, searching through all material on Potterworld for bugs of any sort and then eradicating them. Additionally, they work to bring up suggestions to the respective leadership members and leave feedback on upcoming gameplay.

Developers

Senior Developers - KieranTM, Shijun, Teheeo, and yraaneq 

The Developer team creates and manages all technology for Potterworld, whether that be fixing bugs, coming up with new plugins, or implementing them altogether.

Grounds Keepers

Lead - Teheeo

The Grounds Keeper team is responsible for the reporting, managing, and logging of all the bugs on the server. 

Poltergeists

Lead - AzureAsh  

The Poltergeist team is in direct communication with the player base for suggestions to help improve the server. They read through the suggestions on the forums and bring suggestions up to the heads of each department. Poltergeists also test through gameplay, such as events or updates, to make sure they are suitable for the players on the server.

Management

Each department has their own functioning Leadership team to help and guide the teams in the right direction. In Technology & Development’s case, this includes the Head of Technology, Head of Development, Head of Data, Head of Web Technology, Grounds Keeper Lead, and the Poltergeist Lead.

The Assistant to Head of Technology and Development assists the Head of Technology and Development with leading and managing the entire department and all sub-teams and their members. They also help oversee the management of the leads and provide assistance when needed.

The Head of Technology and Development’s job is to oversee and lead the whole department of Technology and Development and all sub-teams and their members. The head helps to manage and assist the Grounds Keepers, Poltergeists, and Developers as well as ensuring that all mechanics of the server are running smoothly.

Head of Data

Werter

The Head of Data’s role is to manage and analyse the data that Potterworld receives and use it to make insights and help improve the server by communicating key points with the other Heads. However, this role does not involve the leadership of a specific sub-department and instead is a single management role.

Head of Web Technology

Shijun

The Head of Web Technology manages and oversees the Potterworld website and make decisions on the branding and design on web platforms. While, this role does not involve the leadership of a specific sub-department, they aid the Head of Development in overseeing the Web Developers.
