A Curse Reignited

Overview

A Curse Reignited was a Roleplay event released on the 3rd of April, 2022. During this event, players were able to explore the newly built Dark Follower base, uncover hidden secrets related to Noah Pendragon’s past and find clues regarding the potential location of Grux’s next attack. There were many areas, hidden interactions, and NPCs that could be discovered.

Storyline

The newly built Dark Follower base is crowded with busy Dark Followers moving into their new homes. There were quite a few activities players could complete, such as helping the Dark Followers retrieve lost items, assisting Noah Pendragon in investigating his past, hunting down an impostor who had wreaked havoc in the base, and planning and attending Sara’s funeral.

Activities

There were five different activities players could complete throughout this event. Players could find interactions, help others, and complete mazes.

Interactions, NPCs & Hidden areas

There were 33 interactions and 14 NPCs within the base that players could interact with. They received an exclusive collectable reward if they managed to find and interact with all of them.

Additionally, there were a few hidden areas and activities that players could discover.

Insider Trading

The players were given a task by Pandora to locate a file in the Dark Follower base. First, the player had to go to the bunk room in the Dark Follower base and complete a parkour, during which they had to interact with three different interactions. Then, the players went back to Pandora for the second step of the quest. The players then went to the Dark Council meeting room to find the file they were looking for. Players had to go through a small maze to escape the meeting room, and then give the file to Pandora, which put the quest to an end.

The Pendragon Cycle

Noah Pendragon recruited the player to investigate the many mysteries of his ancestry. He showed them a mysterious book, which seemed to convey the lives of the members of the Pendragon family. The players could ‘enter’ the book and relive the legend of King Arthur.

This story helped them solve the mystery behind Merlinus and Regulus Pendragon, as well as Noah and Joshua Pendragon.

Forever Dark Forevermore

The player talked to a busy Henry Chimera, who was organising and planning. He asked the player to check in on three Dark Followers who were doing various tasks while he went to run a few errands. All three Dark Followers were doing the tasks that Henry told them to do, but the player noted that the tasks were quite odd. The player then returned to Henry to let him know that everything was on track. Henry told the player that he never gave the Dark Followers these tasks and suggested that someone with malicious intent could be impersonating him. The player showed Henry the clues they found and this led them to the impostor’s potential location. Once they arrived, Henry and the player split up. The player found themselves in a maze and had to get to the end of the maze without being caught by the impostor. At the end of the maze, the player had to talk to Henry. As they were about to leave, another Henry appeared and the player had to figure out which Henry was the real one. The real Henry then killed the impostor and the injured player found themselves at the infirmary.

Memorial At Midnight

The player received word that the Dark Followers were planning a funeral for their newly deceased Dark Mistress, Sara. The player had to complete various tasks such as gathering Sara’s favourite items, music, and fireworks, then helping Henry and Noah prepare their speeches for the funeral.

There was a cutscene at the funeral, then the player could talk to Blair and claim their reward, finishing the quest.

Potterwatch Video

A Potterwatch video, titled "A Wicked Nightmare", was posted following the event's release. In this video, Henry and Noah describe the plan for the new Dark Follower base and explain the different designs and areas it contains.
