A Future Unforetold (Old)

Overview
A Future Unforetold is the name given to two quests; one quest with the Revelius update, which was then replaced with another of the same name with the introduction of the First Year Experience. This page is for the old quest which is no longer in use. For the current quest, visit A Future Unforetold.
In this quest, players met Hogsworth's strange Divination Professor and journeyed into the future!
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak to the Divination Professor NPC in the Divination classroom.
Dialogue
- [1/3] Hello, you must be here for Divination Class.
- [2/3] Unfortunately, we are one crystal ball short as one has rolled down the stairs and shattered at the bottom.
- [3/3] If you go collect [3 Crystal Ball Shard] and bring them to the Charms Professor, he should be able to fix it for you to use. Can you do this?
Objective 1 - Bring the Crystal Ball Shards to the Charms Professor
Description
Gather [3 Crystal Ball Shard] from the bottom of the staircase leading up to the Divination Classroom, and bring them to the Charms Professor in the Charms classroom at the front of the library.
Dialogue
- [1/1] You need this repaired? I can do that, but first prove you've been doing your Charms homework!
The Charms professor will then ask a Charms-related question.
If correct
- [1/2] Correct, it seems you indeed have been studying!
- [2/2] Reparo! Here is your [1 Crystal Ball]. Can you take this back to the Divination Professor?
If incorrect
- [1/2] Not quite. The correct answer is ___. I'll still fix it if you promise to keep studying!
- [2/2] Reparo! Here is your [1 Crystal Ball]. Can you take this back to the Divination Professor?
Objective 2 - Return to the Divination Professor
Description
Return to the Divination Professor in the Divination Classroom with [1 Crystal Ball].

- [1/2] Ah, thank you for going to get this fixed.
- [2/2] Now, go ahead and look into it with an open mind to see a vision of your future.
Objective 3 - Look into the Crystal Ball to foresee your future
Description
Click your [1 Crystal Ball] to enter into a vision of your future!
Tips
- A Charm is a spell that adds specific properties to an object or individual. Remember this when taking your Charms quizzes.
- The parkour in this quest requires the use of multiple spells such as Leviomora and Lumen Aestus. Make sure to check both of your hotbars when looking for these spells- switch between hotbars with your drop key. In order to use these spells, aim at the block(s) that requires them.
