Overview

The Community Engagement in September of 2021 were all centred around the return to school and autumn activities. It took place between the 27th and 30th of the month.

Last Day of Break!

In the “Last Day of Break!” activity, players were sent into Hogsend to hunt down their back-to-school necessities, and, if they had the time, to create an Everlasting Butterbrew: a bottomless pint of delicious butterbrew. In order to successfully craft this item, players turned the entirety of Hogsend upside down and inside out to find the hidden sugar, water, butter, salt, cream, cream soda, and other special ingredients that had been scattered across the map. Once they found those extremely valuable ingredients, students were able to throw them all together and create a magically bottomless pint of butterbrew of their own.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

This exciting, Inquisitor-made activity began with the players meeting their respective coffee shop owners at the local mall. Players were separated into teams and each of the teams had a different Coffee Shop Worker to assist in creating enough Pumpkin Spice Lattes to sufficiently beat out the competition. The students’ task was to gather the necessary ingredients from around the store by completing parkour or answering trivia questions, then crafting them all together and giving the completed product to the Coffee Shop Worker.
