Overview

Guilds are a way for players to join a group that is similar to how a party works. When a player joins a guild, they are given access to that specific guild’s chat. This allows players to connect with one another and get to know more about each other. Guilds are not disbanded unless the owner disbands them. Players can talk to their friends and are able to see which guild members are online once they join a guild. There is also customisation that can be done within a guild, including ranks, prefixes, banners, and log on/off messages. Up to 50 players can be in a guild.

Creating a Guild

There are many guilds created on the server. Some of them are public, meaning anyone can join the guild. Others are private, meaning that a player must have an invitation to the guild in order to join. The command for joining a guild is /guild join <player:guild>

If a player wanted to create a guild, they would do /guild create <name>. The owner is then able to customise the guild to how they like it. For more information on guild commands and what each one does, players can do /guild or /guilds in-game.

Guild Features

Guilds allow players to make new friends and have a unique experience of building a group with customisable options to make it their own. Being in a guild will allow a player to help fill a minigame queue, ask questions, or communicate with a specific group of people without needing to make a party each time they log on.

Guild Ranks

There are three ranks within a guild.  The ranks from lowest to highest go as follows: member, admin, and owner. Owners have the most permissions within a guild, followed closely by admins. Owners and admins are both able to change the guild state, banner, description, messages, balance privacy, colour, prefixes, and invite members. Along with this, owners are allowed to remove people from a guild, demote or promote members in a guild, or transfer ownership to another guild member.

Members are able to talk in the guild chat and check the guild activity found in /guild or /guilds. All members are able to change their guild notifications. These include guild notification sounds, queue notifications, announcing when someone joins a game queue, and showing when a member of the guild comes on or offline.

Guild Chat

A guild chat is similar to a party chat. When someone sends a message in the guild chat with /gu, every member of the guild will be able to see it. Additionally, when a member in a guild joins a minigame, a message will go out in the guild chat letting the other members know. The rules for guild chats follow the same rules as with parties. Swearing, caps lock, or spamming may be allowed in some guilds depending on the individual guild's rules. To focus on a guild chat, a player can do /ch guild or /ch gu.

Guild Settings

By doing /guild settings, players are able to open a Guild GUI that shows the things that can be customised within a guild. These include whether a guild is public or private, what the guild’s banner looks like, the description of the guild, special messages for when a member logs on or off, who can see the Gold balance of the guild, the colours of the guild, and the prefixes players in the guild have. All of these settings must be done by an owner or admin of the guild.
