Potter Points

Potter Points (PP) are a form of currency that can be used towards purchasing store items. These are obtainable through working as a staff member.

To view how many Potter Points you have, you can type /bal or /balance.

Earning Potter Points

Potter Points can be earned by being a staff member.

Staff/Team Member

Being a staff/team member is one of the most common ways of receiving Potter Points. Every staff member receives a certain amount of PP each month as a form of payment for their help on the server. Team members will also be paid Potter Points with the amount dependent on the work they have completed each month. Every role gets a different amount depending on their responsibilities.

Tournaments

When a player wins a tournament, they will receive a $5 USD gift card to the store along with additional rewards (Gold, House points, etc.). Previously, when a player won, they received 500 Potter Points instead of the gift card.

Other Competitions

Previously, Potter Points were occasionally given out to the winners of a special competition, likely an art, writing, or media competition.

Using Potter Points

Potter Points are used to purchase items found in the store, with 100 PP being equivalent to $1 USD. Not every store item will be available to purchase with PP, but a majority of them will be.

In order to purchase a store item using Potter Points, a player must click on the “Potter Points Store” icon located in the top left of /me. You can then flip through different pages and options to find which item you would like to purchase. On special occasions (like birthdays) you might also be able to purchase an item for someone else with your own PP by making a support ticket on the website.
