Currency

Overview

Currencies on the server can be used to trade belongings. There are countless collectables, cosmetics, and other gameplay-related items that can be obtained through the many currencies mentioned below.

Types of Currency

Gold

Gold is a key currency on the server that is used in day-to-day trading. Gold is the reward for activities on the server such as quests, daily activities, and minigames, and Gold can then be used to buy items such as collectables or items from shops!

Academic Credits

Academic Credits, or ACs, are received when players attend and pass classes on our server and through redeeming daily activity rewards. They can also be redeemed from Poltergeist feedback forms and the Weekly Assignments on the forums! These Academic Credits can be traded for Gold or XP.

Voting Tokens

Each time a player votes for PotterworldMC on one of our six approved websites, the player receives 10 Voting Tokens. Once Voting Tokens have been accumulated, they can be traded for cosmetic items, Gold, or AC.

Event Tokens

Event Tokens are a temporary currency earned at seasonal events on the server. They can be used during each event to purchase event-exclusive items.

Potter Points

Potter Points are the currency exchanged for store items on Potterworld. They can be earned as a student from competitions held by the WizNetworker team, and Tournaments on the server! The Potter Points store can be accessed in the /me menu.

Arena Tokens

Arena Tokens are the currency earned through participating and placing in Arena-hosted challenges and tournaments. 5-18 Arena Tokens can be earned in each challenge, and up to 30 in a tournament.
