Pride CE, July 2022

Overview

The July 2022 Community Engagement was focused on Pride, occurring on various dates between July 4th and July 11th, 2022. This was the last set of Community Engagements hosted and marked the end of Inquisitor-hosted Community Engagements.

Hide and Seek

This activity took place in the magical part of London, where players would hide and Inquisitors would find them. Players got a minute or two to hide anywhere in Diagonal Lane, Carket Market, or Shade Alley before the seekers set out. Every person received a participation reward. However, the five players who lasted the longest without being found also earned House points.

Pride Maze

In the Pride Maze, players navigated their way through a complex hedge maze. Instead of simply finding the end of the maze, players had to find randomly assorted bottles of Light Essence of each colour of the rainbow. Players needed three of each Light Essence: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. To make things slightly easier, there were four possible locations for each colour of Light Essence, though one required parkour to obtain. Once the player had three bottles of each colour, they located the cauldron in the maze to turn them in. Before having all the bottles, those who found the cauldron must backtrack to find the ones they missed. Upon reaching the cauldron with all bottles found and turned in, a reward was received and the player was teleported to a different area with other finishers. The first three players who completed the maze also received House points.
