Spring Fling CE, April 2021

Overview

This Spring-themed Community Engagement event took place on various dates between April 17th and April 25th.

Florist Dash

During this activity, an NPC, Lillian, needed players’ help to make bouquets of flowers for the upcoming Mother’s Day. Participants were separated into three teams, with each team attempting to create the most bouquets. In order to make the bouquets, players needed to get a Watering Can from a parkour, Bags of Soil by standing on a block with a teammate, and Seeds from completing trivia. After they obtained all the necessary items, they had to complete a sequence to get flowers. Once five flowers were obtained, they could form the bouquet. Everyone who attended received a participation token, while only the winning team received the winner token.

Friendship Flower Crown

This activity allowed players to create custom flower crowns for their friends. They could choose between three colours: blue, yellow, or pink. Players then chose between three titles, and finally chose one of three descriptions for the crown.

King of the Egg

During this activity, players attempted to knock each other off of giant egg platforms by using the spell Flipellius. The only other spell players could use, as it was on the item given to them during this activity, was Ascendo to get from platform to platform. The last player on a platform was deemed the king and would receive a special reward.

Le Bunny Fun Park

For this activity, players were taken to a fun park that had a bunch of small activities that players could enjoy with their friends. There was a jumping castle that players received a jump boost on and had bouncy slime, a water slide, a photo bench to take screenshots at, and different vendors that sold food items.
