Overview

This Potterworld Anniversary-themed Community Engagement event took place on various dates between May 25th and May 30th.

Memory Reflections

During this activity, players were able to relax and look back on memories of their time on Potterworld. Players were given a book and quill to answer four questions that the Inquisitors asked:

"What’s your favourite event you’ve done so far?"

"What makes you most happy being on the server?"

"What’s your favourite memory you have made with a friend/player?"

"What’s the best thing that has happened on the server that you feel is most memorable?"

Players were also encouraged to share their answers with their friends. After this, players spent 10 minutes doing a parkour, buying items, and taking screenshots with their friends.

Back to the Past

This activity found players in a replica of the Great Hall of Hogsworth where they needed to work together to repair a Temporal Turner. To do so, they needed to craft the “Potterworld Spirit”, which required them to go to past event locations. Those who went back to the Spring Festival needed to find nodes in the Bunny Burrow that would give them a Spirit or Expired Milk, later replaced by a nausea effect. Additionally, there was a small chance of receiving a rare collectable from the nodes. Those who went to the Winter Waltz needed to solve riddles based on Potterworld history to find Bluefyre in Dormunstrad’s Library. Finally, those who went to the Butterbrew event could choose to do either an elytra or parkour course. The two minigames would give players either a glass or a butterbrew drink and players would need to share the items to craft Butterbrew. Those who successfully fixed the Temporal Turner got rewarded with a trophy, while those who attempted to fix it, but fell short, received a token.
