Overview
Xanthius Lovett's berries are dying, as he is unable to collect water since the well stopped working. The water should magically float upwards to the top of the well due to magical items given from Wrackspuds. Help Xanthius fix the Lovett water source.
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to Xanthius outside The Hovel household near The Dwelling!
Dialogue
- [1/7] Who are you? What do you want?
- [2/7] Oh of course, of course, just a visitor. I'm Xanthius Lovett. A pleasure to meet you. While you're here, I'd suggest you explore around, as there is much you can learn from the little creatures found here.
- [3/7] In fact, I've recently been doing quite a bit of research on Wrackspuds. It seems that they release a peculiar essence which makes liquid defy gravity.
- [4/7] So it seems that this essence could be beneficial to a problem I've been having with my water well for the past couple weeks. To my knowledge, the Wrackspuds should be lingering around in the tunnels below the well.
- [5/7] I trust you know that Visispecs are the only way to see these glorious creatures.
- [6/7] To make the Vivispecs, I believe you just need [2 Fweeper Feather], which can be found following the path headed south and next to the nearby village. You'll also need [2 Pitluck Eye], which is also found by following the south path and just past the Fweepers. Lastly, you'll need [1 Hobgoblin Bone] just east from here.

Objective 1 - Craft the Visispecs
Description
Using Xanthius' directions, collect [2 Fweeper Feather], which can be found following the path headed south and next to the nearby village. You'll also need [2 Pitluck Eye], which are also found by following the south path and just past the Fweepers. Lastly, you'll need [1 Hobgoblin Bone] just east from here, using the path. Once you have all the materials, return back to The Hovel and craft the Vivispecs with the crafting table by the bookshelves.
Objective 2 - Enter the well and slay the Wrackspuds
Description
Make your way through the well and slay a Wrackspud.
Objective 3 - Restore the water flow
Description
Find the water source at the end of the cave and put the brain fuzz in the water to fix the flow.
Objective 4 - Return to Xanthius

Tips
- Make sure you put on your Vivispecs before entering the well to see the Wrackspuds!
