Overview
Fweepers are Level 36 mobs that occupy a jungle-like area near Tristmoor. Fweepers are aggressive birds, and their drops are needed for the quest Blocked Source.
Fweepers are one of pink, green, yellow, or orange colour. As there are four colour varieties of Fweeper, they are used to represent the number four in the runic alphabet. Pink Fweepers are observed in Britain and specifically near Tristmoor on Potterworld.
Behaviour & Defence
Fweepers attack as soon as they see a player, as they are an Aggressive mob. They have their basic attack to hit a player, as well as three special attacks.
A Fweeper’s basic attack deals 173 damage. Their dash, where they quickly dart at a player, deals 259 damage. A Fweeper can also shoot a missile towards a player, as well as create a surrounding area which deals damage to any in it (Area-of-Effect). Being hit with a missile from a Fweeper does 259 damage, as does being hit with the AOE.
Fweepers use a high-pitched song that can drive any listener into madness. This effect is only temporary at first, but if left unchecked, can lead to permanent insanity. This exact instance happened to Eric the Eccentric who attempted to prove that the Fweepers were harmless. However, when he returned, he was wearing a dead badger as a hat and was speaking nonsense. What Eric did not understand was that a simple silencing charm will mute the bird, making it unable to harm those nearby. Those who own a Fweeper should note that this charm will need to be reinforced monthly.
Habitat
Fweepers are naturally from the Congolese Jungle in Africa. They can also be found in Madagascar, which is where they are often exported from to the rest of the world. But there is one colony situated in Great Britain. Marcus Middlestaff (an amateur magizoologist) brought home a pair of Fweepers, which then escaped captivity and began this English colony. A species of pink Fweeper have taken up residence in a jungle-like area just east of Tristmoor. The trees in this area are full of pink and purple Fweeper nests, which make their habitat easy to spot. Fweeper nests are always colourful; often filled with bright leaves and flowers. As the Fweeper prefer lush, humid environments, jungles are ideal locations for the Fweeper to live in. Additionally, Puffing Pod Lvl. 30 plant nodes can be found around the area.
Defeat
Fweepers are Level 36 mobs, and therefore drop Fweeper-specific drops as well as Level 31-40 broom materials upon defeat. The Fweeper-specific drops are Fweeper Dung, Fweeper Feather, and Fweeper Heart. Level 31-40 broom materials are Bronze Footholds, Elm Handle, Silk Handlewraps, and Rope Bristles. As a level 36 mob, the Fweeper also has a low chance of dropping a Lvl 31-40 Gear Piece, as well as an even lower chance of dropping a Broom Recipe. The Fweeper mob drops can be used to craft Puffing Pod Fudge IV, Jester's Stew IV, Jester's Tea IV, and Transformation Tonic IV.
