Dark Duel

Overview

The Dark Duel commenced on January 16th, 2021. During this live Roleplay event, three candidates fought to become or retain their position as the leader of the Dark Followers: Joel Crestello, Noah Pendragon, and Sara Selwyn.

Storyline

The previous Dark Lord, Joel Crestello, became the Dark Lord in March of 2020 during the Dark Lord Election. However, in November of 2020, Joel Crestello went missing and was eventually found the next month, where it was found that he had been tortured and was subsequently admitted to the Psych Ward in Merlin’s Magical Hospital due to his mental state. Joel Crestello did manage to break out and get back to the Dark Followers, though he was then overthrown in a coup orchestrated by Noah Pendragon and Sara Selwyn.

Joel Crestello then issued a challenge to Noah Pendragon and Sara Selwyn for the title of Dark Lord. At the event, Henry Chimera acted as the referee while the three candidates duelled. In the middle of the duel, Sara Selwyn revealed that she knew someone who would come to assist Noah Pendragon. Eventually, the previous Dark Lord, Seberius Gregorovitch, arrived and helped Noah win the duel. Seberius disqualified himself from the duel by casting an Inexcusable Curse, however, his help made Noah Pendragon win the duel.

An article was then released on December 3, 2020 right after Joel Crestello was found. Additionally, the highlights the coup that overthrew him were revealed.

Another Breaking News article was published on January 10, 2021. This article announced the Dark Duel, and explained how this competition is a tradition for Dark Followers.
