Enchanted Compass

Overview

The Enchanted Compass is a device that players can use to navigate to various locations throughout Hogsworth and the world map. The compass has an unlimited number of uses and costs no Gold to obtain. It is highly useful for quests, Professions, and Reputations.

Obtaining an Enchanted Compass

It is possible to obtain an Enchanted Compass by doing the command /me while in-game. When clicking the third icon from the right in the upper-right corner, the player will receive a compass. If a player does not already have the item, a new compass can be obtained at any time by doing this.

Using your Enchanted Compass

When the player right-clicks an Enchanted Compass, they will then be able to select either Hogsworth Locations, Mobs, or Towns. A player can set their compass to a mob or a town while being anywhere on the world map. However, a Hogsworth location can only be set while the player is at Hogsworth. A mob becomes unlocked on the compass once the player reaches the same or higher experience level than that mob's level. After initially discovering a town, it becomes unlocked on the compass. The towns included on the compass are many of the major towns that the player will have to go to while doing quests. Many of the Hogsworth locations are also important to earlier quests. 

After the player sets their location, the white arrow on the outside of the compass will point to where the player needs to go. It is possible to see the white arrow while both holding the compass in the player’s hand or while in the player’s inventory. The player also does not have to be holding the compass for it to work; the compass will continue to point in the correct direction and the player can navigate using the icon in their inventory.
