Overview
Pixies are Level 12, aggressive mobs on Potterworld. They are currently located on the edge of the Deep Forest near Hogsworth. Pixies can deal quite a bit of damage if there are multiple of them. To better combat them, gear and dexterity are needed in order to survive. Their exclusive mob drops are not required in any quests but can be used for professions.
Pixies are only able to communicate with other Pixies, using a series of high pitched squeaking sounds. Take caution when approaching a group of them, as their favourite activity is to create mischief, often by working with other Pixies to create bigger chaos. The Pixies have an XXX classification rating from the Ministry of Magicians.
Behaviour & Defence
Pixies are a naturally-fast, aggressive mob. Upon nearing their habitat, they will begin to spawn and immediately attack a player due to their aggressive behaviour.
Usually, less than 30 centimetres tall, these “bite-sized” mischief makers are known to cause havoc, particularly by lifting people by their ears and placing them high up in trees. They are incredibly strong for their size and are able to pick up entire adult humans with only their ears. However, due to the Pixies' small hands with only three fingers, they cannot easily grip most things.
While flying, they are extremely fast. Pixies are known for their small, translucent wings (around 20 centimetres in size) that allow them to be able to fly around quite easily. Be prepared to outrun them when needing to escape.
Pixies have a total of 130 HP each. Their basic attack deals 26 damage and they have three special abilities known as missile, dash, and dodge. After being hit with a damage spell, a Pixie may choose to either: launch a projectile at the player, dodge any incoming spells by strafing to the left or right or even dash straight towards the player. If the player is hit by the Pixie’s dash, an extra 64 damage is dealt.
Habitat
While Pixies are native to Cornwall, England and its surrounding area, they can be found hanging around the edge of the Deep Forest by the Wicked Willow, which is southwest of Hogsworth and east of the Grounds Keeper’s Hut. Mainly Wrinklefig Lvl. 10 nodes can be found here, along with the occasional Dittany Lvl. 10 and Nightshade Lvl. 10 nodes.
Defeat
As a Level 12 mob, Pixies have a rare chance of dropping Lvl 11-20 Gear Pieces. Additionally, the mob drops exclusive Pixie drops. These include Pixie Brain, Pixie Dust, and Pixie Ear, which can be used in the following profession items: Jester’s Stew II, Puffing Pod Tea II, Hijinx Mixture II, and Restoration Draught II.
