Overview
For the 2018 Spring Festival event, which lasted from April 18th, 2018 to April 29th, 2018, players were able to festively celebrate the arrival of Spring while helping out the Easter Bunny and Mother Nature. Exclusive rewards were available for purchase, and there was a housing competition.
Storyline
Spring was here, and two very important people needed players’ help: the Easter Bunny and Mother Nature.
Location
The main event hub was the festively decorated Great Hall Courtyard. From there, players explored the small build, which featured towering trees and greenery, picnic tables, and giant Easter baskets with eggs. These quests had players traverse between Hogsworth, Hogsend, and Diagonal Lane.
Quests
There were two series of quests made available to players via the Taskboard NPC just outside the Great Hall. After completing each of the introduction quests, players unlocked a series of quests to help out either the Easter Bunny or Mother Nature.
The Earth Awakening
To start, players talked to Poppy in the Hogsworth Dungeons. Mother Earth had just awoken in a dazed state, and nothing was working to help her recover. Poppy needed assistance in helping her recover. First, players had to talk to Ash in the library about brewing a healing potion. He referred players to the Draught of Healing potion, which seemed simple to brew. Potion ingredients were then purchased for three Gold from Gracelyn at J Pippin’s Pot in Diagonal Lane. She gave a warning which told players to take caution when brewing the potion, as it could give an even worse effect instead. From six Vines of Health, one Fairy Wings, and two Dittany, the healing mixture was crafted, then brewed into the potion. Afterwards, a cake was needed to make Mother Earth feel welcomed and to celebrate her return. In the Kitchens, Oat Cake batter was prepared and baked into a cake of love and healing. Both the potion and the cake were given to Mother Earth at the Greenhouses, who healed up and expressed her gratitude. This quest was the introductory quest for the Mother Earth quest series.
Magical Medical Madness
To start, players headed to Merlin's Magical Hospital in London. Many of the nurses and doctors here had left to aid a village that had suffered through a terrible storm. Players aided them in helping some of the patients at the hospital while they were gone.
Forest in Flames
To start, players were asked to help get a fellow student out of detention. They needed to gather evidence to help prove their innocence.
Flora Misconception
To start, players talked to Ally, who was looking to create a new recipe involving plants. She accidentally added too many plants and created an explosive reaction. Players had to help her out before all of Hogsworth was destroyed.
Elixir Endeavor
To start, players talked to Noah. He accidentally had destroyed his cauldron and made a mess of the classroom on his first try in growing a Draught of Growth for his plants.
Frail Festivities
To start, players talked to Diana. She was supposed to lead the traditional spring parade but unfortunately caught a nasty cold. Players had to help her feel better before it was too late.
Stolen Seeds
To start, players talked to Justine. She entered in the Annual Flower Growing Competition with the hopes of taking a first place medal back home. However, her seeds were accidentally scattered everywhere. Players had to help her find the seeds so that she could win the Gold Medal once again.
Scorched Greenhouse
To start, players talked to Becca. A group of students were messing about the Greenhouses and accidentally set fire to some of the plants. Players had to help Becca replant and fix all of the damage done.
Easter Bunny Bait
To start, players talked to Belle in the Honeybadger Common Room. She was sick and needed help planning the decoration of the Castle for the Easter Bunny. This is the starting of the Easter Bunny quests.
Golden Opportunity
To start, the Easter Bunny had set up a scavenger hunt for all of the students at Hogsworth. Players had to do the hunt and try to find the golden egg.
Sweet Treats
To start, the Easter Bunny had lost all of his treats to give to all of the good kids on Easter morning. It was up to players to save Easter by retrieving the treats.
Bunny Banditry
To start, players talked to Bryan, the Easter Bunny’s egg supplier. Unfortunately, all of the eggs were stolen from him. Players had to follow the clues left behind the thief to find the eggs and return them to Bryan.
Explosive Eggs
To start, the Easter Bunny had come up with a brilliant prank: Exploding Easter Eggs. Players had to deliver them around the school to give some students a good laugh.
A Dangerous Hop-eration
To start, the Easter Bunnies had been captured and needed to be saved. Players had to find the Easter Bunnies, free them, and discover the cause of their capture.
An Eggcellent Delivery
To start, the Easter Bunny needed players' help decorating some eggs. Players had to gather dye from around the map, design the eggs, and then deliver the treats to the Easter Bunny's rabbit friends across Hogsworth.
Cake Catastrophe
To start, Amelia and Evelyn were assigned to make a cake for their annual Easter Festival. Players had to help them find the cookbook, ingredients, and bake the cake in time.
A Basket Crisis
To start, players talked to Tiana. Someone ruined all of the Easter baskets that Tiana and her friends made. Players had to help them create a new basket.
Side Quests
There were no side quests during this event.
Activities
House Points Competition
Players traded in Spring Eggs for house heads to help their house win the House points competition. The house who purchased the most heads would win House points. There were 50 pink easter egg nodes hidden all around the castle and grounds. Each could be redeemed every 24 hours and could also be traded in at the House Points NPC in the Great Hall Courtyard upon finding them. The competition ended on April 29th, 2018 and the results were announced with Serpent securing first place.

Contests
There was one accompanying contest that was hosted alongside the event. On March 17th, 2018, the Spring Housing contest was announced. This required contestants to create a springtime-themed housing plot. Submissions closed on April 13th, 2018 and the winners were first announced via a Potterwatch stream on April 14th, 2018.
Rewards & Collectables
There were a variety of different event items that players were able to obtain throughout the 2018 Spring event.
By talking to Reward Shop NPCs in the Great Hall Courtyard, players could purchase a variety of collectables, food items, heads, and more with Event Tokens. These tokens were earned from completing event quests.
