The Bells of Wigtown

Overview
The hourly Wigtown bells have mysteriously stopped ringing. Gama informs you that the bell ringer has died recently and that an enchanted gear will allow the bells to automatically ring. Gather the materials to craft this gear and help the citizens of Wigtown.
Quest Progression
To start this quest, speak to Gama.
Dialogue
- [1/5] About a week ago, the bellringer of Wigtown died. Flint was his name. Wonderful person. It's such a shame.
- [2/5] However, without him, there's no one to ring the bell!
- [3/5] If you can gather [4 Wamprus Cat Tail], [4 Kelpie Tooth], as well as [1 Metal] from the blacksmith, you should be able to craft the enchanted gear at the blacksmith shop.
- [4/5] You can find [4 Wamprus Cat Tail] northeast of here in the mountains and [4 Kelpie Tooth] just south of here down by the beach! You'll also be able to find the Blacksmith, if you walk south, down this road! You can then craft the gear in the Blacksmith's house.
- [5/5] Once you have done so, head to the clocktower, it's north from here at the end of the road, and use it on the bell!
Objective 1 - Enchant the Bell
Description
Craft [1 Enchanted Gear] to enchant the bell so it automagically rings. In order to do so, gather [4 Wamprus Cat Tail], which is found northeast of Gama, in the mountains, [4 Kelpie Tooth], which can be found just south of Gama down by the beach, then [1 Metal] from the blacksmith south, down the road. Then, craft the gear in the Blacksmith's house.
Dialogue
- [1/5] Woah there! Thank you so much!
- [2/5] Oh thank goodness! I thought that bell would never be fixed after I passed!
- [3/5] Listen, I will be stuck here forever, and all I want is to be set free.
- [4/5] The issue is, I need something from my life in order to pass on.
- [5/5] Head to my house, it's just next door, and try to find [1 Wedding Ring] if you could?
Objective 2 - Free Flint
Description
Find Flint's wedding ring by searching his house, next door to the church, then return it to him near the bell in order to allow him to move on to the afterlife.
Dialogue
- [1/3] You found it? Thank goodness.
- [2/3] Now, I can finally pass on peacefully.
- [3/3] Spend time with your loved ones. You never know when it may be your last. Goodbye.
Tips
- Wamprus Cats and Kelpies aren’t the easiest of foes. Be sure to be well prepared before you take them on.
