Potterwatch Team

Overview

The Potterwatch team is a part of the Media branch of the team and is in charge of creating official video content for the Potterworld YouTube channel. Directors and Performers work together on a daily basis to ideate on skits, tutorials, let's plays, streams, and more. Potterwatch members are also heavily involved in working with other teams and departments to promote upcoming gameplay updates, helping to inform and excite players with the happenings on the server.

Performers (Non-staff)

A Performer is a non-staff Potterwatch position which entails working with the Potterwatch Directors to help create content on the YouTube channel. Their main responsibilities include acting (both voice and character), being available on both Discord and in game, working with the team to create quality content, and being able to take direction from the Potterwatch Directors

Requirements

• Must be at least 13 years old.
• Must be at least a level 31 or above.
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone.
• Have access to a personal email account.
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acting with your voice and Minecraft character.
• Assisting in writing scripts, building sets, and other miscellaneous activities in the video creation process.
• Providing feedback on upcoming videos and ideas.
• Actively communicating with the Potterwatch Directors and leadership team.

Directors & Sr. Directors (Staff)

Potterwatch Directors are staff members devoted to producing video content for the YouTube channel. They oversee the entire creation process, from the writing of scripts to uploading and formatting descriptions. This includes recording and editing skits, tutorials, live streams, and more. They have the option to specialise in video creation, streaming, or both depending on their preferred skills and abilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years old
• Must be at least a level 31 or above (if you have reset, you must have been level 31 or higher before resetting)
• Must be able to use Discord with a microphone
• Have access to a personal email account
• Having a clean record on Potterworld is recommended, but not required

Responsibilities

• Writing scripts, recording, editing, and revising your videos.
• Actively communicating with other Potterwatch members and the Media Leadership team.
• Working with other staff and non-staff members to make videos for upcoming features and events.

Potterwatch Advisor

Potterwatch Advisor is the most senior position of the Potterwatch team (aside from Lead). This individual aids Media Leadership in the management of this team in absence of a specific lead. They ensure that the team is functioning as needed and that the team is fulling the standards of Media & Public Relations department.

Potterwatch Lead

The Potterwatch Lead is responsible for the general management of the Potterwatch team. They ensure that the team is functioning as needed and that it is fulfilling the standards of Media & Public Relations department.
