Overview

Help the Broomstix Inn’s owner find their precious stack of recipes!

Quest Progression

To begin this quest, speak with Officer Jenny in Diagonal Lane.

Dialogue - 

• [1/3] Hey! You there, you look strong enough, come here for a second.
• [2/3] Recently, there's been a break-in here where a bunch of broom recipes were taken.
• [3/3] Do you think you could help find who or what did it and help get them back?

• [1/3] You will? Thank you so much!
• [2/3] Now, I've put together a list of possible suspects based on the area.
• [3/3] Why don't you take a look around for clues, and come back to me once you think you know who did it.

Objective 1 - Search for clues

Description - 

Look around to search for clues then report back to Officer Jenny.

Dialogue - 

• [1/1] So, who do you think the thief is?

 

You will then have to choose who you think the thief is based off of the clues you collected.

• [1/2] I think you're onto something! All of the clues you found definitely point to the Pyrat.
• [2/2] I heard of a colony of Pyrats living under the nearby Wand Shop. Why don't you go check it out?

Objective 2 - Retrieve and return the broom recipes

Description - 

Defeat some Pyrats in their nest under Jollivander's Wand Shop and get the [1 Stack of Recipes] back to the Store Owner.

Dialogue - 

• [1/4] You found them? That's great! Thank you so much.
• [2/4] Here, why don't you have this recipe, I have plenty of extras in here.
• [3/4] It's really difficult to craft a broom, so as long as you gather us all of the materials, we can craft it for you. Just head over to the Broom Vendor to get started.
• [4/4] Oh, and if you need more materials, you could always go back into the pyrat nest and defeat some more. Good luck!

Objective 3 - Craft your own broom

Description - 

Give the materials you collected to the Broom Vendor in Broomstix to craft your broom, then return to the Store Owner.

Dialogue - 

• [1/3] I see you now have your own broom! Good job kid.
• [2/3] It seems that there are a few copies missing, but I know that the pyrats usually give their treasures to other monsters so if you find any down the line don't be surprised.
• [3/3] Thanks again for all your help!

Tips

• A lot of mobs will be very difficult to fight if you are a lower level with weaker gear. Try getting higher up to avoid their attacks!
