James Hordan

Overview
Growing up in Edgebrook, James Hordan has been an avid writer even in his youth. Once he began attending Hogsworth, he was never the best student, but his professors could tell that he had a way with words. It was one of his professors, who had worked for The Scribbler when it was just starting out, who recommended James to the company.
During his early days of working there, he was mostly an intern. His duties primarily included minuscule tasks like stacking newspapers and keeping an eye on the supplies stock. After months, he was finally promoted to Assistant Producer, a position in which he thrived. Always completing his pieces before the deadline and helping with any other necessary tasks, it came as no surprise when he was promoted.
Now, he spends his time writing and editing articles The Scribbler publishes. Whenever he is not working on an article, he enjoys making sure everything at his work is neat and organised. James loves his work and he gets pleasure helping customers who wander into their building. He is even close with his colleagues. Particularly, he is good friends with Xanthius Lovett's daughter, Lana Lovett, whom he occasionally has to assist and correct mistakes for.
As an NPC, James Hordan is met in the third-year quest, Scribbler Letdown. During the quest, players find the Producer in his uniform inside The Squibbler, which is a white and pink building on Diagonal Lane near Shade Alley in magical London. Having never disinfected a Hijinx Mixture from a newspaper before, he refers the player to his friend, Mrs. Mulpepper, for help.
