Name: Mysterious Manor

Overview

King William I, famously known as William the Conqueror, took the plot of land where the Mysterious Manor now resides from Unmagicals and gave it to Arnaud Malfin. Arnaud received the land as a gift because he faithfully served King William for years, going so far as to use shady practises and magic to do William’s bidding. Shortly after getting the land, Arnaud built the Mysterious Manor, where it now serves as the Malfin family home. In the centuries since then, the Malfins have acquired more of the surrounding area through stealing items and property from local Unmagicals.

In addition to being the Malfin home, the Dark Followers’ base is also set up at the Mysterious Manor. The Dark Lord regularly holds meetings at the Manor where battles are planned out and urgent matters are discussed. Even though they are Dark Followers themselves, the Malfins reportedly are not fond of the group using their mansion to further their agenda.

Players on Potterworld can explore the Mysterious Manor for themselves on the south end of the map. While it is possible to walk there, it is much easier to fly to the mansion, as it is fairly far from any town. The level of the area is 40+, however, there is relatively little danger in and around the Mysterious Manor, so lower-levels are able to visit the mansion without fear.


Geography & Environment

The Mysterious Manor is a large estate surrounded by a stone wall, with plenty of trees and greenery to spruce the place up. Outside of the mansion, there are four, maze-like hedge formations that players can walk through. Along the exterior stone wall, there are additional hedges covering the wall. 

The mansion itself is ginormous with many rooms spread across three floors. Green is a prominent colour found throughout the Manor, with most curtains and carpets being this shade. The interior of the mansion is sparsely lit and navigating the halls can be tough.

Creatures and Plants

While there are no creatures that can be found directly surrounding the manor, Lunarcalves can be found to the north near Eldham Ridge and Thunderhawks can be found to the southeast near Wightwaye. Additionally, there are not any plants that can be harvested near the Mysterious Manor. 


Hidden Chests

There are no hidden chests at the Mysterious Manor.


Trivia

  • The dining room where the Dark Lord holds his meetings can be found here. If you look closely, you may even be able to spot his snake nearby.
