Overview
Farmer Daniel wants to travel across the sea to Ireland to sell crops, but cannot afford the ferry, nor does he owns a ship. He asks you to look around the shore for someone that would be willing to lend their boat. Help Daniel reach Ireland and overcome the challenges out on the sea.
Quest Progression
To begin this quest, speak to the Daniel NPC in his home in Wigtown!
Dialogue
- [1/3] Why, hello there! So good to see someone so spry and accommodating and willing to help me with my troubles!
- [2/3] Oh me? I just want to sell my goods to the town across the ocean. Only problem is, I don't have a vessel to carry me there!
- [3/3] Do you think you could help me find a boat?
Objective 1 - Find a Boat on the Shore
Description
Search for a boat or someone with a boat on the shore.
Dialogue
- [1/3] As a matter o' fact, this fine ship belongs to me! What d'you care for it?
- [2/3] I guess I'd be willin' to let ya use it... for a price o' course.
- [3/3] Well, there's this 'ere [1 Bone Fishing Rod] I've been dyin' ta use... made o' [3 Vampire Bone] and [2 Wamprus Cat Tail]. If you could get me that, I'd be willin' ta let ya use my boat. Ya can craft it at the craftin' table on my ship.
Objective 2 - Bring Anita a Bone Fishing Rod
Description
Craft [1 Bone Fishing Rod] out of [3 Vampire Bone] and [2 Wamprus Cat Tail] at the crafting table on Anita's ship.
Dialogue
- [1/2] Well I'll be! Ya got it!
- [2/2] I s'pose a deal's a deal. Hop on board and hold onto yer hat!
Objective 3 - Fight off the Swooping Deaths
Description
Chase the Swooping Deaths off of the ship!
Objective 4 - Fight off the Mermaids
Description
Run the Mermaids off the boat!
Objective 5 - Slay the Sea Serpent
Description
Defeat the Sea Serpent.
Objective 6 - Speak to Daniel
Description
Speak to Daniel about this new city.
Dialogue
- [1/3] Oh my, I can't believe we made it...
- [2/3] Thank you so much for that, now I can sell my crops over here!
- [3/3] Anita told me just before you got here that she owes you big time and would be happy to carry you back and forth to here from now on! How about that?
Tips
- Completing this quest will allow you to unlock Ireland and travel there whenever you wish. You will not be able to travel to Ireland without completing this quest first.
