Overview
The Curator team is a branch of the Community Management department. They work to design and implement gameplay that is aimed to bring the community and staff team together.
Requirements
- You must be an "active member” of the Potterworld community,
- You must have Discord with a working mic and be comfortable talking to others,
- You must have use of your own personal Gmail account,
- You must have permission to apply from the Head of your Primary Department,
- You must be at least 14 years old,
- You must be at least level 61 on the server,
- A clean record on Potterworld is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Working on a team to plan and implement live Expedition events,
- Hosting live Expedition events for the server,
- Regularly engaging with players both in-game and on Discord,
- Actively communicating with Community Management Leadership,
- Able to meet deadlines & have the ability to commit and finish a project,
- Working with other staff and team members to make content for the server.
Rank Descriptions
Curator
Curators help to design and implement tech/activities for live Expeditions, and assist with organising Expeditions before and during the live events are hosted. Curators also engage with the community both in and outside of the Expedition events. Everyone on the team, from Curators onwards, is welcome to propose and develop ideas for future Expeditions.
Sr. Curator
Sr. Curators are able to lead projects alongside the Lead Curators and assist with training/helping other team members, especially with tech and event hosting. Unlike Curators, Sr. Curators have the ability to create class servers and have the responsibility of ensuring that Expeditions run smoothly. In addition to this, Sr. Curators should provide feedback on all content created and/or implemented by the team, and assist the Lead Curator with any requests where applicable.
