Contents
Overview
The Class Design team is part of the Academics department. This team is dedicated to creating and working on tech projects for the Academics team. These projects allow the Academics team to have interactive classes for students, such as Wizard’s P.E. and Magical Cuisine.
Requirements
- You must be at least 15 years old.
- You must be a level 50 on the server.
- Must have experience attending classes on our server.
- Being able to use Discord with a microphone and being comfortable speaking to others is recommended.
- Must have access to your own personal Gmail account.
- If you’re a staff member, you must have permission to apply from the Head of your Primary Department.
- A clean record on Potterworld is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Create and work on projects related to the Academics department.
- Actively be working on a minimum of 1 project per month
- Be online for 5 hours a week
- Actively communicate with Class Design Leadership, project leads and project team members.
- Able to meet deadlines and have the ability to commit to and finish a project.
- Give feedback on projects and suggestions and attend team meetings.
Rank Descriptions
Class Designer
Class Designer is the entry-level position for the Class Design team. In this rank, the member learns how to create content for interactive classes as well as works on projects.
Senior Class Designer
Senior Class Designers inherit the same responsibilities as Class Designers but have the ability to lead projects and mentor Class Designers. In addition, Senior Class Designers provide feedback on other projects that the team is working on.
Class Design Advisor
Class Design Advisors serve as a bridge between Class Designers and the leadership of Academics. They assist leadership in managing projects as well as supporting the team overall.
Class Design Lead
The Class Design Lead ensures that projects are up to quality while working closely with the rest of the Academics department’s leadership. Class Design Leads are also in charge of managing applications for the Class Designer position.
