Overview

The annual Winter Waltz event took place in Greece in 2025. Students were able to visit the Greek school, Magifaisteio, from November 30th until January 1st.

Storyline

A new challenge awaits you at the ruins of Magifaisteio. Partake in the Trials Training to hone your skills by completing different tasks. Journey to the far-away island of Nea Kameni in Santorini, Greece and discover one of the smallest and oldest Wizarding Schools in Europe: [Magifaisteio]. Unlike most other magical schools, there are only three unique houses students can be sorted into: House Kalephos, House Thaloris, and House Dryagon.

Location

This event took place on the island of Nea Kameni in Santorini, Greece, surrounded by beautiful blue oceans where many Kelpies make their home! Ancient buildings and ruins are scattered across the wonderous mountainous terrain where many hidden artifacts and trial training grounds await you.

Quests

The 2026 Winter Waltz at Magifaisteio featured one main quest which featured getting sorted into your Magifaisteio house. Players were rewarded with Snowflakes. Snowflakes were an event-only currency and could be earned through completing quests and activities.

Side Quests

In addition to the mainline quest, the event featured two side quests that included assisting the school's drama program and digging around the grounds for ancient artifacts. Players were rewarded with Snowflakes. Snowflakes were an event-only currency and could be earned through completing quests and activities.

Minigames

This event featured 13 different minigames that players could participate in to earn Snowflakes, which were used to purchase event rewards. The minigames included mazes, parkours, droppers, and ice skating.

Daily Taskboard

For the event, players had the option to complete a unique series of Daily Challenges off the Taskboard. These challenges involved participating in minigames and games, and they provided additional Event Tokens upon collection. At midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST), the Taskboard was reset and was able to be completed once more.

Rewards & Collectables

The table below lists all event rewards and collectables obtainable through this Winter Waltz event. Most were purchased with Snowflakes. However, some needed to be unlocked by completing a specific quest, side quest, or activity. Moreover, the DD: The Special Edition book was purchasable for 50 Gold from the Daily Diviner News Seller NPC.
