Magiventologist Team

Overview

The Magiventologist team falls under the department of Game Design and has 3 roles within the team: Magiventologist, Expert Magiventologist, and Lead Magiventologist. The idea behind the Magiventologists is that they are a group of wizards that study different realms that appear in our world at different times of the year. The responsibilities of the role is to come up with ideas and themes for each of the events on Potteworld. In this role, event quests and quest rewards are built, along with new and fun minigames centred around the event. The existing event realm is always being expanded by the Magiventologists with new themes, quests, rewards and activities for players to experience!

Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old
• Being able to use Discord with a microphone and being comfortable speaking to others is recommended
• Must have use of your own personal Gmail account
• If you’re a staff member, you must have permission to apply from your Head of your Primary Department
• You must be level 65
• A clean record on Potterworld is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Create & work on events for the server as a part of the Events team
• Actively communicating with Game Design Leadership
• Able to meet deadlines & have the ability to commit to and finish a project
• Working with other staff and non-staff members to make content for the server

Rank Descriptions

Magiventologist

Magiventologists implement all event content, and coordinate with the rest of the Magiventologist team to ensure that events are released on time and in completion.

Expert Magiventologist

Have the same responsibilities as Magiventologists, as well as overseeing larger projects within events.

Lead Magiventologist

The lead(s) of the events team. Lead Magiventologists assign and manage event implementation, providing feedback to both Magiventologists and Expert Magiventologists.
