Fire Dust Network
Overview
Fire Dust is used as fast travel around the Potterworld map. It is simple and easy at the trade-off of being pricey. Players can use a fireplace at a main town to quickly travel to other towns that have been discovered by the player previously.
Obtaining Fire Dust
Fire Dust can be bought from five House Elf NPCs on the Potterworld map. One House Elf is located at (3481, 45, 3085) in the Hogsworth Great Hall. A second House Elf is located at the Fire Dust store in Diagonal Lane at (2975, 61,-326). Gnollberg Port has a House Elf at (5245, 10, 1779). The fourth House Elf is found in Greenshore Harbour at (6194, 11, 1797). The final House Elf is found at the Dark Prison at the coordinates (6678, 14, 5918).
Fire Dust sells from these House Elves for 8 gold each. Fire Dust can also be purchased from player shops for different prices, as well as obtained for free from hidden chests.
Using Fire Dust
Fire Dust is used at fireplaces in many towns. Players click the gold firepot outside of the fireplace and select a different town to travel to, provided that they have the required Fire Dust in their inventory and that they have first discovered the town.

History
When first introduced in mid-2016, Fire Dust had the title of Floo Powder and was purchased from the Caretaker NPC and Floki’s Floo shops in Diagonal Lane and Hogsend! The prices were only 30 Floo Powder for 3 gold. Each time a player travelled with Floo Powder it would cost them 1 Floo Powder.
Prior to the Revelius Update in July of 2020, Fire Dust was much cheaper and was a quick and easy way to transport around the world. Fire Dust was a digital currency recognised in a player’s balance and was less than 1 gold per piece. Fire Dust would transport players to locations such as the Hogsworth Common Rooms, as well as other residences such as The Dwelling.
