Overview
You've heard about rumours of a missing Wizard. Their old friend Maria in Squalus Cove needs your help finding him.
Quest Progression
To begin the quest, speak with Maria located in Squalus Cove.
Dialogue -
- [1/3] Good day (player)! Are you here because of the rumours?
- [2/3] An old friend of mine disappeared into thin air a while ago. I haven't seen him since then...
- [3/3] Could you help me find him and make sure that he's okay?
After Accepting
- [1/2] Thank you so much! His old house is in the south-east. Look for some clues there!
- [2/2] Come back to me if you find something helpful please. Good luck!
Objective 1 - Investigate the Abandoned House
Description -
Enter the house of the missing wizard in the southeast of Squalus Cove and see if you can find hints about his current location. Then return to Maria with what you've found.
Dialogue -
- [1/3] Did you find something?
- [2/3] A glass shard? It seems like it has a tracking spell bound to it! You should try following it!
- [3/3] Good luck!
Objective 2 - Find the Hidden Location
Description -
Use the tracking spell near Maria to help her find the hidden location of the Wizard.
Dialogue -
- [1/3] Who are you? How did you get in here!?
- [2/3] Maria sent you? Well I don't care about her anymore. The most important things in my life are my experiments now.
- [3/3] You can't stop me! I'll release them into the world to destroy Squalus Cove!
Objective 3 - Defeat the Magical Experimenter
Description -
Defeat the Magical Experimenter in the arena of his Laboratory.
Dialogue -
- [1/2] You... you defeated me...
- [2/2] How is this possible…
Objective 4 - Look for the secret passage
Description -
Look for a secret passage inside the lab in Squalus Cove and investigate it.
Objective 5 - Report back to Maria
Description -
Head back to Squalus Cove and tell Maria what happened.
Dialogue -
- [1/3] You're back! Did you find any sign of him?
- [2/3] Oh... that's horrible. He went mad and you had to stop him... Thank you for saving Squalus Cove.
- [3/3] If you don't mind, I need some rest. Thank you, again.
Tips
- Be sure to pay close attention to and remember the hints that you find!
- When fighting the Magical Experimenter make sure to keep your distance in order to avoid taking a lot of damage.
